2010.01.05 | Third successful Spanish Masters for Marshal Tyres
Gary Benwell of Basingstoke MOT and Tyres
Thirty top performing members of the Marshal Platinum Club took part in the '2009 Marshal Spanish Masters' this Autumn. Now in its third year, the highly successful five-day golfing tour took in some of the finest courses on Spain's Costa del Golf.

Hosted by JS Kim, managing director of Kumho Tyre (UK), and Reg Bond, managing director of Bond International, the national distributor of Marshal tyres, the party was able to sample three of Europe's most spectacular golf courses during its stay - the Robert Trent Jones Senior-designed Los Naranjos; the Aloha, whose royal visitors have included the King of Malaysia and HRH Prince Edward; and the Rio Real, which is sited in a breathtaking wooded valley.

Each course presented its own set of challenges even for the most proficient golfers in the group but after the three rounds, Gary Benwell of Basingstoke MOT and Tyres emerged as the overall champion.

Said JS Kim, "It was a great pleasure to be able to provide this enjoyable trip for Bond International and our top Marshal retailers who have supported us admirably by not only maintaining but increasing their sales of Marshal despite the extraordinarily difficult trading conditions of the recent economic downturn."
